Why we plot Intensity versus 2θ ? why not Intensity versus θ?

 

Because, 2θ is the angle between transmitted X-ray and Reflected X-ray & detector able to to measure both angles. 

Also, we can not measure θ directly that's why we take 2θ instead of θ. Because, 2θ is a measurable quantity and we can easily measured that's why we observed the graph intensity versus 2θ in the XRD pattern.
