Covalent Solids:Ionic Solids

Some of the most valuable lectures on physics, audio lectures and tips on physics were given by Richard Feynman in 1959.

Professor Richard Feynman was a Nobel Prize-winning theoretical physicist from the United States. A brilliant mind and mercurial personality made him famous. Feynman was a pioneer in quantum computing and introduced the concept of nanotechnology in addition to his theoretical physics work. The ideas and concepts behind nanoscience and Nanotechnology began with a famous talk entitled “There’s Plenty of Room at the Bottom” by physicist Richard Feynman at an American Physical Society meeting at CalTech (California Institute of Technology) on Dec 29, 1959, long before the term nanotechnology was used. This online edition of the Feynman lectures on physics is published by Caltech's Division of Physics, Mathematics, and Astronomy.

An up-to-date copy of Feynman's famous lectures is available to anyone with an internet connection and a web browser. Text, figures, and equations can all be zoomed in without degrading on any device; this edition is designed for reading on all types of devices regardless of their size or shape.

Volume I :-  Mainly mechanics, radiation, and heat

Volume II :- Mainly electromagnetism and matter

Volume III :- Quantum mechanics

Tips on Physics :- A problem-solving supplement to the feynman lectures on physics.

Feynman's Messenger Lectures

Hiram Messenger donated Cornell University with a fund in 1963 to provide the 1964 Messenger Lectures. This series has been held annually since 1924, when Richard Feynman was invited to deliver the 1964 Messenger Lectures. To raise the moral standard for political, business, and social life, a course of lectures on the Evolution of Civilization will be presented by the ablest non-resident lecturer or lecturers available. Lectures feynman gave at cornell in 1964.
